Thank You

I'd just like to take a moment out to thank all of the people that tuned in this Saturday. This was my first time putting an entire playlist together myself—last week's list was compiled by our GM, since I wasn't familiar with the editing software at the time—and I wasn't sure how it would turn out since I was on a two-year hiatus from contemporary rap music prior to taking the host position for this show. Apparently, I must have done something right because a lot of you listeners called in to inquire about the songs, as well as to just show your appreciation for what was being played. So if you all like what you've heard this week, I'll try to keep up the pace and play the best of old, new, east, west, north, south and everything in between. If you'd like to hear something on the show in the subsequent weeks, please post a comment on here prior to that week's show or e-mail me at dip554@yahoo.com, so I can make sure I get everything edited for radio play. A couple of folks called in with their requests, and although I didn't have the edited versions of the songs at my disposal, and couldn't play them due to time constraints, I'll make sure to get to those tracks first thing next Saturday. So we'll be hearing from Nine, Jay Electronica, Goodie Mob, Blackstar, Pharrell and MF Doom without a doubt next week. I'll see you all then, and a big shout out to everyone who listened this weekend. Every call that I've received about someone liking the playlist has really made this entire endeavor worth all of the time that I had to spend editing tracks this week. Thank you all!
